Color Schemes

Color schemes play a large roll in how we look at objects, a color can be cool or hot, dull or bright and in many cases complimentary. An example of a football team that has complimentary colors are the Denver Broncos as their colors are blue and orange. When you combine colors you can get new colors, for example when red and yellow are combined you get orange, combine yellow and blue you get green and combine blue and red you get purple. In color you can adjust the light and dark values with tints and shades. To make tints you apply white to a color and to get shades you apply black to a color. Another spectrum of color is the neutral colors which include black, white, gray, and occasionally brown. These aspects of color come together to form three color schemes: analogous, complimentary, and monochromatic. An example of a website that displays an analogous scheme is http://www.packers.com/, the Packers website uses primarily green and yellow to create an analogous color scheme. A site displaying comlimentary colors is the http://www.chicagobears.com/, the Bears website uses the complimentary blue and orange. A site that shows monochromatic color scheme is http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/, which uses primarily blue.

On the Cutting Edge

Who is requesting this RFP?
A CEO of a large and successful corporation.

Why has Chris called a meeting in the Zone?
Chris and his multiple colleagues at EyeSite are being asked to make and manage a website for a CEO of a large corporation.

How will your team prove that you are the best qualified team to take on this project?
Using our teams unique perspective we will determine what makes the perfect web site.

Summarize in a couple of sentences what your 1st step is to accomplish this task.
Each team member will make a list of what makes they believe makes the perfect web site, then the lists will be brought together and we will determine as a team what the best web sites characteristics will be.

When describing a good website, Why are descriptive words like; cool, easy, fun, and awesome not good enough to satisfy the CEO of this company?
The CEO does not want bottomless words that lack true meaning. Words like cool, easy and fun are just too simple.

What does the CEO want and how will you achieve this?
The CEO wants descriptive words that really have definite meaning, he want descriptions backed up by quality research and examples. To accomplish this we will split up the background research job amongst each team member.

Lastly, Name the individual roles and tell me who on your team is assigned to them.
